Polish Guard in Berchen Ling

The time for the 2nd round of the Polish Guard round Berchen Ling came in May 2012. The weather was so kind to spoil the team since the beginning creating perfect conditions for working and meditating outside. During the whole time more than 15 friends will take their shifts – a bunch of them you can see on the group picture below

Czech Working Group

During Greek Easter a bus with Czech friends came dismantling old metal tanks and make new concrete floor in new kitchen extension. Full with Slav power and fun we had great time on place. Looking forward to see them soon again, and promise to give them more job next time.

April, Czech Month in KBL

has gifted me by various situations always bringing new experience of mind and one´ s potential. As the Stupa protects freedom and place itself works like clear mirror of mind, one can meet any emotion in the very beginning. And of course, learn a lot, dissolve a lot of concepts and set the mind more free!
First half of April was accompanied with pleasant short-term stays of few friends. Jan, the “local protector” with his wonderful kids stayed there to introduce me to the site – how everything functions on an outer and inner level. Then, for one week showed up Sasa and Karel from Karlovy Vary. Together we enjoyed meditation at the Stupa and caves, trips to the mountains and downtown to the sea. Meanwhile, appeared from space, one Belgian couple came to stay for few days – having the very first contact with Diamond Way right here!
Mid of the month was in the name of international exchange, celebration and work: Jan´ s family with few Greek friends had come to celebrate Easter, the biggest feast of the year and hosted all of us with delicious traditional Greek meals! At the same time, bunch of Czech heroes, coordinated by Juha and Alex started a period of joyful activity. KBL became a building-site for a while again. And last comes the week of meditation in solitude…Helena

We spent awesome two weeks up in Europe`s strongest retreat place. The “place of the five winds”, how KBL was called by locals, lived up to its name. The place received us with days of heavy snowstorms and cold, which we used for meditation. After some nice days with cleaning the doors and houses from snow, enjoying the expected spring outside, the winter came back: with half meter new snow and we were cut of from the outside again. The following days with heavy fog allowed us extended meditation (fortunately our baby as well) The change with our successor Simon from Berlin was an adventure for all of us. We are really thankful about the possibility to spend such intensive time in this inspiring and wild place, even with our little Sara.

Austrians on KBL

Old friends of KBL Andrea & Hermann finished Austrians month. They have great time up there, with all kind of weather “cold, snow,wind, lot of sun and fog”. Although that, they had lot of fun and they are looking to come back as soon as possible.

Exchange Operation

Sunday early morning we went up to leave Elmar on KBL, and take down Austrians Dakini to airport. Although we have a lot of snow on road, with help of our friend Apostolis and his jeep we manage to come until gate and exchange holders of KBL. Fast rounds around Stupa, driving down our jeep to leave it in Kiato for Andrea & Hermann (next people of KBL) and fast driving to airport to catch plane.

Austrian Dakinis in KBL

Our Lamas opinion that people take their karma with them has been proven right because we Austrians had lots of snow again. Cut off from the usual outer world for one week, alone up on the mountain with storm from all directions and snow, snow, and more snow we had a great time working with our mind and all the phenomena appearing in them under such conditions.

Weekend on KBL

On weekend we went up to meet friends. Chilly weather was playing with us. Sun, snow, wind and cold was on daily program. Kids with red cheeks was trying to make snowman and we were putting new praying flags behind Stupa. We went home full with experiences and looking forward to go back as soon as possible.
